FICO Group was found by Srichawla family in 1947. Initial foray of the Group was into textile trading, and then gradually expanded in to other businesses over past several decades. Following a major reorganization of the group, Fico Corporation was set up in 1993 as a lead company. Since then Fico Corporation has grown significantly to cover business activities spanning from Hospitality, Commercial Real Estate, Luxury Retail, Manufacturing & Trading (Textile and Commodity), Engineering & Technology, and Entertainment & Media. The group now encompasses more than 50 companies, and most of the companies report to FICO Corporation’s CEO, Krit Srichawla.

 

Food & Beverage business is operated under Fenix foods world company limited, where Fico and Srichawla family are the largest shareholders. Fenix foods world thru its subsidiaries are the Master Franchisee for Domino’s Pizza in Thailand and Cambodia, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in Thailand, Kyochon Chicken in Thailand and Cambodia. Fenix foods world thru its affiliates are the Master Franchisee of Magnolia Bakery in Japan, Hawai and Korea, . Fenix foods world is the principal shareholder of Red Planet Hotels Ltd, who owns and manages Red Planet Hotels across Asia. Fenix foods world also owns a series of popular restaurants including The Iron Fairies, Fat Gutz, Fat’R Gut’z,Fat Gut'z Saloon Eastville,Iron Fairies Dragonfly Eastville, Mr. Jones Orphanage, Bangkok Betty, Clouds, Maggie Choo’s and Bon Bon.

 

With the aim to create shared values between the organization and the society, FICO also represents its charitable foundation called FICO Pattana Foundation. FICO Pattana Foundation was established primarily due to the tragic Tsunami of 2004. The foundation helped raising money to rebuild schools and rehabilitate survivors. Since then, the foundation has continued to support the less fortunate through various charity work and donations.
